Meet Alyssa Easley
Founder · West Pelvic Wellness · Katy, TX
A Katy mom, doctor of physical therapy, and passionate advocate for women's wellness — Alyssa is helping mamas across Katy feel strong, confident, and whole again.
Meet Alyssa
Alyssa Easley is a Central Texas girl, raised near Austin, educated at Texas A&M (Whoop!) and then the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Today she calls Katy home, and has since 2017 — even if she'll laugh and admit she never planned to land in Houston.
She and her husband Clayton have been married 13 years and are raising a full, beautiful household: stepson Everett (21) and their three girls, Brynna (12), Lila (6), and Raylee (4). When she's not in the clinic, you might find her sketching, painting, crafting with her girls, or baking at home, and most likely, at a local coffee shop with a very strong cup of coffee in hand.
"Humorously, I never wanted to live in Houston — but here we are! And I love Katy.
— Alyssa Easley
Her "Why"
Alyssa has wanted to be a physical therapist since junior high, but it was becoming a Mom that transformed her career entirely. She became a mother while still in PT school, then practiced in pediatrics before pursuing specialized pelvic floor training.
She openly admits she said, more than once, that she would never own a practice. But after returning to full-time work following the birth of her second daughter, the burnout was real.
"I felt led to do something differently. I felt burned out and like I was working for a system that did not understand me or truly, deeply care for me — as a PT but also as a wife and a mother."
— Alyssa Easley
So she started West Pelvic Wellness, visiting moms at home for pelvic floor therapy. Six years later, she has a thriving Katy clinic and is opening a Cypress satellite location. Talk about a wild idea that was absolutely worth taking.
A Day in the Life
No two mornings look the same for Alyssa. Each day begins with helping care for Everett, who has been recovering from a spinal cord injury for nearly two years. Then it's coffee on, wake the girls, make breakfast, pack lunches, and get everyone out the door with Clayton handling school drop-off.
Client Days
In the clinic seeing 4–6 patients with her signature whole-body approach to pelvic floor therapy.
CEO Days
Meetings, teaching workshops, building YouTube and social content, marketing planning, and tracking quarterly goals.
Afternoons bring another round of coordinating Everett's appointments, the girls' activities, and everything in between. Full, intentional, and rooted in family.
The Most Rewarding Part
Ask Alyssa what she loves most, and she doesn't hesitate: it's the people.
"The most rewarding part is being a part of so many women's journeys — clients and team members alike. Women from different backgrounds, different life paths, different stages of motherhood and womanhood. It's amazing!
— Alyssa Easley
On Balance — Keeping It Real
Alyssa is refreshingly honest: perfect balance doesn't exist. As a small business owner wearing many hats: CEO, CFO, clinician, administrator, she's learned that time is her most precious resource. She's built firm boundaries around her schedule to protect space for her business, her clients, her family, and herself. And she's gracious enough to admit she's still working on it.
"I don't think there will ever be a magical moment where I feel I've found perfect balance. But I keep setting boundaries, and I keep showing up."
— Alyssa Easley
Her Advice to Moms Dreaming Big
For any mom sitting on a dream right now, Alyssa has two simple, powerful pieces of advice:
✨
Dream Big
Allow yourself to imagine the possibility. Alyssa almost missed this entire journey by playing it safe.
🪜
Be Consistent
Small, steady steps create lasting results. You don't have to leap — you just have to keep moving.
At Home with the Easleys
When work is done, the Easley family loves nothing more than being home together, movie nights, backyard play, cooking as a family, and Sunday church are their anchors.
Right now the girls are obsessed with "Mommy Dates" and "Daddy Dates", special one-on-one trips to Target or out for a treat. For a mom who pours so much into others, those little moments of connection are everything.
