There are certain people who seem to have found their true calling - and Dr. Tiffany Poole is absolutely one of them. As the owner of The Vine Chiropractic + Acupuncture in Katy, she has built a practice rooted in something deeply personal: her own experience as a mom. This month, we are honored to celebrate her as our Macaroni KID Katy Mom of the Month.

Meet Tiffany and Her Crew

Born and raised in the Houston area, Tiffany now calls Cypress home with her husband of nearly 17 years and their three kids - a 12-year-old daughter and two boys, ages 11 and 9. As an only child growing up, she always dreamed of having a big, lively family of her own.

Before opening her practice, Tiffany earned a degree in Neurobiology from UT Austin and spent time in Trauma Research with LifeFlight at Memorial Hermann. Her path to chiropractic care? Let's just say it may have been written in the stars - her maiden name is McCracken.

"We had three kids under three at one point. It was definitely chaotic at times, but we wouldn't have it any other way."

Fun Facts About Tiffany

  • ✓ Graduated from UT Austin with a degree in Neurobiology
  • ✓ Previously worked in Trauma Research with LifeFlight at Memorial Hermann
  • ✓ Food is her love language - she recently got back into sourdough baking

Born for This

Becoming a mom completely changed the way Tiffany practices. It inspired her to pursue additional post-graduate training in pediatric and prenatal chiropractic care - and it gave her a mission. She now uses her own experiences as a mom to guide the way she cares for the families in her practice.

"It has become my mission to educate and support parents in the ways I wish someone would have supported me - from prenatal self-care and breastfeeding to encouraging proper growth, development, and nervous system health in children."

A Day in Her World

Tiffany's mornings kick off around 6am with her husband. They make lunches together, talk through the day ahead, and send the kids off to the bus. One of her favorite simple rituals: sitting at the kitchen counter doing her makeup while the kids eat breakfast.

She is typically in the office by 8:40am and sees patients from 9am, always working to maintain balance in her schedule so she doesn't lose the passion that drives her. Evenings bring her back home by 5:30, where her husband often has dinner prep underway. Their family ritual of sitting down together every night - with favorite playlists, a glass of wine, and the kids rotating in from outside - is something they protect fiercely.

"I try to soak up those extra moments of family time whenever I can."

The Most Rewarding Part

For Tiffany, one of the greatest joys of owning her practice is doing things exactly the way she believes they should be done - taking the time each patient genuinely needs and creating care plans that make real sense. Beyond the clinical side, she worked hard to create an experience from the moment a patient walks through the door.

"I never wanted my office to feel cold or sterile. I wanted it to feel welcoming, comfortable, and personal - a place where people feel at ease and genuinely cared for."

Finding the Balance

As a wife, mom, chiropractor, and business owner, Tiffany knows better than most how easy it is to pour everything into your work. She has learned to set firm boundaries - she tries not to work when her family is home, and dedicates specific admin days so she can be more present for the people who matter most.

She is also refreshingly honest about something many moms struggle to admit: self-care is non-negotiable. She has intentional practices she keeps daily, weekly, and monthly to show up as her best self - for her family, her patients, and herself.

"Self-care is not selfish - it's necessary."

Her Advice to Moms

Thinking about starting a business? Tiffany says start small and grow organically. Surround yourself with people who lift you up, seek out mentors, and remember that social media can be a genuinely positive source of inspiration and community if you use it intentionally.

"Comparison really is the thief of joy. Just keep showing up, stay authentic, and trust that growth takes time."

When She's Not Working

The Poole family are proud homebodies. You're likely to find her husband and the boys out in the garage working on cars, while her husband - an ultra marathon runner - keeps the whole family busy cheering him on at races on weekends.

When they do venture out, they love family-friendly restaurants and breweries with outdoor space. But most of the time? They are happiest right at home - cooking together, watching the kids and dog run around outside, and winding down with a movie. As Tiffany puts it, they keep life simple and stay present with each other.
